Signal Marketing is a UK growth studio founded in September 2023 by Oliver Ball. Manchester-HQ, founder-led, focused on SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Business Profile management, web design, web development, and AI search optimisation for ecom brands and local service businesses.
Why Signal exists
I built Signal because the agency model was broken. Senior consultants pitch you. Juniors deliver. Account managers buffer between you and the people doing the actual work. Reports dressed up in jargon to obscure thin output. Twelve-month contracts to keep clients paying through the slow part. The same pattern across UK SEO, paid media, web design, every category.
After scaling NoSnore — my own DTC brand from £500 to seven figures in under 12 months — I had a working framework for paid media, SEO, conversion-focused web, and creative production. The framework worked because there was no agency layer between strategy and execution. The operator running the strategy was the operator pulling the levers.

The NoSnore story
NoSnore was my proof-of-concept. Built from a £500 starting budget to seven figures in under 12 months. Documented £0 to £250k in ad spend. Scaled via Meta ads, Shopify, and a creative testing system that’s now applied to client work.
Why does this matter? Because most marketing consultants have only spent other people’s money. There’s a difference between optimising someone else’s account and optimising one where bad decisions hit your bank account at the end of the month. Every framework Signal applies to clients was tested first on my own money.
