Signal, generally

Search optimisation, paid media, websites and custom systems, plus Google Business Profile management for anyone selling locally. Search, media, creative, copy, design, development and analytics are all in-house in Manchester.

Every sector. Ecommerce and DTC, clinics and aesthetics, salons, showrooms and retail, gyms and coaching, media and publishing, local services, B2B, SaaS. If it sells, we've run search, ads or a build for it.

20 Dale Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Partners across the UK and a few beyond it. Come in for a coffee or never meet us in person, both work.

Yes, and plenty of partners use us that way. Strategists, media buyers, search specialists, creative strategists, editors, designers, copywriters, developers and an analyst, with one person accountable for your number. A fractional marketing department for a fraction of eight salaries.

Yes. We'll plug into whoever runs your site, your ads or your content, agree who owns what in week one, and stay out of each other's way.

The founder built a DTC brand from nothing and sold it for seven figures before Signal existed. Everything we recommend has been paid for with our own money first. Then there are the reviews.

Pricing and contracts

Search, paid media and profile management are monthly retainers, scoped to what the account needs. Websites and systems are fixed-price projects, agreed after a scoping week. You'll get a number on the first call, not a proposal three weeks later.

Rolling monthly with seven days' notice to cancel. New Meta accounts run a two-month first cycle, because the first six weeks are testing and month two is where it pays. No twelve-month lock-ins, no exit fees.

£5k a month for paid media. Below that there isn't enough data to test and scale properly and you'd be paying us to guess. At the other end we manage accounts spending up to £3M a month, so there's no ceiling you'll hit with us.

Yes. One platform, one workstream, one landing page, one booking engine. Everything gets scoped on the same rolling monthly or fixed-price terms. The full programmes are where the compounding is, which is why most who start with one add the rest within a quarter, but you don't have to start there.

Access to the accounts, the site and analytics, plus an hour with whoever knows the business best. We take it from there.

Search optimisation

Technical fixes move things in weeks. Content and links compound over three to six months. You'll see what's moving from the first weekly report, and we'll tell you what's not moving too.

No one honest does. Google doesn't sell positions. What we guarantee is the work, the reporting and that you'll know exactly where you stand every week.

Making sure ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity name you when someone asks a question you should be the answer to. Entity work, structured data, reviews and citations on the sources those models read, tracked weekly across all four.

Yes, in-house, and we publish it too. You approve the plan and the first pieces, then we ship on a cadence. Nothing goes to a content mill.

Earned placements on real sites through digital PR, data pieces and outreach. No private networks, no paid directories, nothing that gets you a manual action two years later.

Paid media

You do. Always. We work inside your Google Ads and Meta accounts as a partner, the data and history are yours, and if we ever part ways everything stays exactly where it is.

If people already search for what you sell, Google first, because you're catching demand that exists. If they don't know they need it yet, Meta first, because you're creating it. Most end up running both.

Yes, in-house. Creative strategists, video editors, designers and copywriters on the team, so statics, video edits, copy and UGC briefs all come from us. A new batch goes into testing every week.

When it's needed, yes, quoted separately as a project. If the page you've got converts, we'll use it. If it's losing you the sale we'll say so and build one for the ad and the audience.

Google Search moves in weeks. Meta usually needs four to six weeks of testing before it settles and scales. Either way you'll see what's happening from the first weekly report.

Websites and systems

Shopify if you sell products and want the checkout handled. WordPress if your team needs to edit content and the site is mostly pages. Fully custom when either would be fighting you, which is more often than people think. We'll tell you which on the first call.

No. Every site is designed in Figma and coded by hand. Plugins get used where they genuinely earn their place, not as a substitute for building the thing.

That's the point of custom. Booking engines with deposits and reminders, client portals, pipeline CRMs, member areas, stock and calendar sync, admin panels with only the fields your team needs. Tell us the process and we'll build the software to match it.

You do. Code, domain, hosting accounts, data, all of it. If you leave, you take the lot and we'll help you move it.

A landing page in days. A full site in four to eight weeks, most of which is design approval and content. Custom systems get their own timeline in the scope.

Yes, and it's more common than you'd think. We'll audit what's there, tell you honestly whether it's worth saving, and either finish it or rebuild it properly, with the cost known before we start.

Google Business Profile

The three businesses Google shows on the map at the top of a local search. It sits above every organic result and gets most of the clicks and calls. If you're not in it for the searches that matter, you're mostly invisible to people nearby.

A simple flow that asks the right customers at the right moment, with a link straight to the review box. No incentives, no buying, nothing that gets the profile suspended.

Often. Reviews that break Google's policies can be reported and escalated, and we know how to write the case so it gets read. We can't promise removal, but the process is done properly.

Yes. Each location is its own profile with its own reviews, posts and local page, managed from one place with one report, priced per location.

Nothing matches that. Try fewer words, or just ask us below.
